Black Friday & Cyber Monday EV Charger Deals 2026
Our deals hub for Level 2 home chargers. Today it records what has historically discounted in this category and what rarely has — from dated deal records, not guesswork — and says, class by class, whether to buy now or wait. When this year's deals go live, they are posted here.

Status on September 18, 2026: no Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals are live yet, and none of the retailers or manufacturers we track has announced one for 2026. This page exists now so that when they do, the context is already here. What follows is the dated record of what has actually discounted in this category in past Novembers, what has not, and what that means for whether to buy today or wait. Every historical figure below is a cited observation from a deal tracker, manufacturer or retailer; none is a prediction.
The season’s three sale windows
Amazon’s October event. Prime Big Deal Days ran October 7-8 in 2025, starting at 12:01 a.m. Pacific, and Amazon itself describes it as kicking off the holiday shopping season. When we checked on September 13, 2026, Amazon had not announced the 2026 dates. For chargers, this is the first window in which the listings we track have historically moved; we will update this line when the dates are published.
Black Friday, November 27, 2026.The day after Thanksgiving. In practice Amazon and the manufacturers’ own stores now run their Black Friday pricing for a week or more either side; the tracker records cited below are dated November 20, 21, 26 and 29 in their respective years.
Cyber Monday, November 30, 2026.Historically a continuation of Black Friday pricing online rather than a second, deeper cut — Lectron’s own 2022 post treated the two as one promotional period.
What has historically discounted — and what rarely has
We went looking for dated price records rather than impressions. The pattern that emerges is less about Black Friday than about list-price headroom: the deepest recorded cuts attach to units with high manufacturer list prices, and the value-priced units move less and less seasonally.
Discounts in November, repeatably: Autel and the electrical-brand hardwired units
The clearest November pattern in the record is Autel. On November 21, 2025 the MaxiCharger AC Lite Home 50A was tracked at a new all-time low on Amazon, roughly 30% below its regular price, and the tracker’s note is the useful part: it “beats out last year’s Black Friday pricing by $1.” Two consecutive Black Fridays landing within a dollar of each other is as close to a repeatable pattern as this category offers. Our MaxiCharger Home, AC Elite 40A and 80A reviews cover the units we rank; the AC Lite is a sibling we do not.
The second pattern comes from a brand we do not rank but cite for the shape of it: Leviton’s 48A hardwired charger. The tracker recorded a discount in the 2023 Black Friday period, then a 20% markdown on November 20, 2024 that it described as “the first discount we’ve spotted on this standard EV charger in 2024,” and then a new low of about 36% off on November 26, 2025, with the previous low having been in July. That is a product that discounts in November and, in at least one full year, nowhere else. If the charger you want comes from an established electrical-equipment manufacturer with a firm list price, this is the class it most likely belongs to.
Discounts all year, not just in November: ChargePoint and Emporia
The ChargePoint Home Flexis the counter-example. The record shows a 14-15% Prime Day markdown in July 2024, a series of cuts through the second half of 2023 that the tracker called “a myriad of discounts that have been trickling in since summer,” and an all-time low — a 33% markdown from MSRP — recorded on January 16, 2024— after the holiday season, not during it. For this class, the calendar is a poor guide; the live price is a better one, and the “marked down right now” box above is built for exactly that.
Emporiasits between the two. Its Level 2 charger was tracked at roughly a quarter below its regular price on November 11, 2023 — a genuine November low — but the same tracker noted it matched a one-day offer from the previous April. November was good for Emporia buyers that year; it was not unique.
Manufacturer-direct promotions: Grizzl-E, Wallbox, Lectron
Several brands run their Black Friday promotion on their own store rather than as an Amazon price cut. Grizzl-E ran 20% off sitewide at grizzl-e.com for Black Friday 2024. Wallbox published a Black Friday 2025 page for the Pulsar Plus directing readers to its direct store (the page states no figure, so we record none). Lectron’s own Black Friday 2022 post listed its 14-50 charger as the “lowest price in 30 days” — a modest move. Two things follow. First, a direct-store promotion may not show on the Amazon listing we link, so if you are buying one of these brands it is worth checking both. Second, these are promotions the brand controls, which makes them the most likely to recur — but a past promotion is not a promise, and we will not treat it as one.
What rarely discounts deeply: the value-priced 40A units
We could not find a dated record of a deep Black Friday cut on the value-priced 40-amp plug-ins and portables we rank — the Lectron 40A, ELEGRP 40A and EVIQO 40Aclass. That is an absence of evidence rather than proof they never move, and the honest reason is structural: these listings are already priced near the floor of the category and have far less list-price headroom to strike through than a premium unit does. A Black Friday “deal” on one of them is likely to be small, and there is little to gain from waiting months for it. Whatever small markdowns exist will surface in the box above on the day they appear.

One factor no sale touches: installation. For a hardwired charger, the electrician, permit and inspection can cost as much as the unit, and none of it goes on sale. If the charger needs to be on the wall before winter, the saving from waiting for a November markdown is often smaller than the cost of charging from a household outlet through December. Note that the federal 30C tax credit, which some manufacturers’ older Black Friday pages still mention, terminated for chargers placed in service after June 30, 2026 and is not part of this year’s math.

These are the chargers we rank first in the flagship roundup and the segment pages, with the price each listing showed on September 18, 2026. Prices come only from our daily retailer check — if the check stops, the number disappears rather than going stale. When a listing reports a discount, the struck-through list price appears under the button; when it does not, no discount is claimed.

The safest default for most homes: you set the amperage in the app to 16, 24, 32, 40, 48 or 50A, so one charger fits whatever circuit your panel can spare today and scales up if you upgrade later. The app is the most mature here, firmware arrives over the air, and the warranty is long.

The one to buy when wall space is tight: it's among the smallest 48A units you can get, with dynamic load management so it can share a circuit without tripping the main. A polished premium charger — and priced like one.

Lectron 40A Portable Level 2 Charger
One of the cheapest honest ways into real Level 2 charging. Plug it into a NEMA 14-50 outlet, get a genuine 40A / 9.6 kW, and unplug it to take on a trip. No app and a shorter warranty are the trade-offs for the price.

ELEGRP 40A Portable Level 2 Charger
The full-speed portable. A genuine 40 amps on a NEMA 14-50, an IP67 station body rated -22F to 122F, and a 25-foot cable - the longest here by five feet - for less than the 32A unit costs. It is the heaviest thing here to coil and there is no app, but if the portable is also going to be your everyday charger, this is the one that does not make you choose.

When is Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday falls on November 27, 2026, the day after Thanksgiving, and Cyber Monday on November 30. Amazon's October event, Prime Big Deal Days, ran October 7-8 in 2025 and Amazon describes it as the start of the holiday shopping season; when we checked on September 13, 2026 the 2026 dates had not yet been announced. We will note them here when they are.
Do EV chargers go on sale for Black Friday?
Some do, and the dated record is uneven by brand. Autel's Black Friday 2025 price on the MaxiCharger AC Lite 50A was a new all-time low within a dollar of its Black Friday 2024 price. Leviton's 48A hardwired unit discounted during the 2023, 2024 and 2025 Black Friday seasons and, per the tracker, almost nowhere else in 2024. ChargePoint's Home Flex, by contrast, has discounted on Prime Day and through ordinary months, with an all-time low recorded in January 2024. There is no single answer for the category, which is why this page works by product class.
Should I wait for Black Friday to buy an EV charger?
If you need it installed before winter, no — electricians book out in the fourth quarter and a charger bought on Cyber Monday is often not on the wall until January. If you are buying an Autel, the record favors waiting. If you are buying a premium smart charger, buy when the live price shows a markdown rather than on a date. If you are buying a value 40-amp plug-in, there is historically little to gain from waiting. The table on this page works through each class.
Will you post fake or expired deals here?
No. Every deal posted in the log below will carry the date we observed it and will link through our standard, disclosed affiliate links to the retailer's listing, where the current price governs. The 'marked down right now' box is generated from the retailer's own reported list price by the same daily check that powers every price on the site; if nothing is marked down, it says so. We do not predict prices or discount percentages.
Is the federal tax credit still available for a home charger?
Not for a charger placed in service after June 30, 2026. The federal 30C credit terminated on that date, so it is not part of the 2026 math even where a manufacturer's older Black Friday page still mentions it. State and utility programs continue; our utility rebate guide explains how to check, and the rule in nearly every program is to apply before you buy.
Can I return a charger bought as a gift?
Usually, if it is unused. In 2025 Amazon's extended holiday window allowed most items bought between November 1 and December 31 to be returned until January 31. Amazon announces the window each year, so confirm the current dates before relying on it, and keep the box sealed until the recipient has confirmed the connector and the install type.
